Rockfall event on Union Bar Road

For today, there is ditch work which is clearing the rock scaling work from earlier this week. Please expect up to 10 minute delays while this work is occurring. The expectation is that the work will be completed by end of day today.

Slope stabilization professionals will be on site at the Union Bar Road rockfall event on Saturday, November 16, 2024. The scaling operation will last approximately a week. While crews are on site, please be aware that there is an expectation of at least 10 minute delays while work is being done to stabilize the slope.
Residents should continue to avoid using this corridor if at all possible.
If you must travel past the site, please use caution.

District crews are responding to an active rockfall event on Union Bar Road.
Slope stabilization professionals have been notified and will be attending to the site as soon as possible. Residents should avoid using this corridor if at all possible.
If you must travel past the site, please use caution.
District crews will begin cleanup of the fallen rock when it has been deemed safe to do so.
