🔥 CAMPFIRE PROHIBITION IN EFFECT – DISTRICT OF HOPE 🔥
In coordination with the BC Wildfire Service and Coastal Fire Centre, all campfires will be prohibited within the District of Hope effective:
📅 Thursday, May 7, 2026 ⏰ 12:00 PM
This prohibition does NOT apply to: 🔥 CSA/ULC-approved portable campfire devices using briquettes, liquid fuel, or gas 🔥 Cooking stoves using propane, gas, or briquettes
The prohibition will remain in effect until October 31, 2026, or until rescinded.
