The Operations Department is responsible for the programming, design, maintenance, and inspection of Public Works services at the lowest cost consistent with good engineering practice. These services include, but are not limited to roads and streets, parks, wastewater, drainage and irrigation, water supply and treatment, sanitation, district equipment and buildings.
Headed by the Director of Operations, the Department is located at the Nelson Street Works Yard.
