2026 Election Officials
The District of Hope is seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to serve as Election Officials for the 2026 Local Government Election.
Election Officials help ensure voting is conducted fairly, accurately, and efficiently. This temporary employment opportunity is well suited to individuals who are organized, enjoy working with the public, and want to contribute to their community.
Election Dates
Advance Voting Days:
Wednesday, October 7 and Wednesday, October 14, 2026
General Voting Day:
Saturday, October 17, 2026
Selected applicants must:

Attend a paid training session before the election

Be available to work approximately 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on all three voting days

Provide friendly, accurate and dependable service to voters
Election Officials will be compensated at $25.00 per hour. Previous election experience is considered an asset but is not required.
Application deadline: 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026.
