Jobin Kunjumon Appointed Director of Operations

The District of Hope is pleased to recognize the appointment of Jobin as Director of Operations.

Jobin brings extensive experience overseeing the essential infrastructure and public services that support communities. Before joining the District, he served as Director of Infrastructure, Planning and Public Works for Williams Lake First Nation. Prior to that, he worked as Operations Manager for the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine.

Throughout these roles, Jobin was responsible for a broad range of municipal and regional services, including water and wastewater treatment systems, parks, roads, landfill operations, facilities and fleet maintenance.

Jobin holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and is registered as an Engineer-in-Training with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia. He also holds a Diploma in Water and Wastewater Treatment Technology from Thompson Rivers University.

As Director of Operations, Jobin is looking forward to working closely with the Operations team and the community to deliver reliable, efficient and sustainable services.

Outside of work, Jobin enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing soccer, cricket and badminton, exploring nature and discovering new restaurants.

Jobin’s appointment brings experienced operational leadership to the District and supports its continued commitment to providing dependable, sustainable services and maintaining the infrastructure residents rely on every day.
