The Fraser Valley Regional District has now expanded the Evacuation Alert area to include Dogwood Valley, reflecting the changing conditions of the Brunswick Creek Complex wildfire.

While there are currently no evacuation alerts or orders within the District of Hope, we recognize that this news may be concerning for many residents.

Please be assured that District staff continue to work closely with our emergency management partners and are actively preparing for all eventualities. We are monitoring the situation closely and will share verified information with our community as it becomes available.

Now is also a good time for everyone to take a few simple steps to ensure you're prepared, should conditions change. Being prepared doesn't mean you should be alarmed, it simply means you'll be ready if needed.
