⚠️ Air Quality Update – Smoke Conditions in Hope
⚠️ Air Quality Update – Smoke Conditions in Hope
Smoke from regional wildfire activity continues to impact air quality in the Hope area. Air quality has worsened since our last update and is currently at a level where everyone may experience health effects, particularly with prolonged outdoor exposure.
If possible:
• Stay indoors and keep windows and doors closed
• Use air conditioning or an air cleaner on recirculate if available
• Reduce or postpone strenuous outdoor activities
• If you must be outdoors for extended periods and smoke is affecting you, consider wearing a well-fitted respirator (such as an N95)
• Check in on neighbours, family members, and others who may be more vulnerable
