🔥 FireSmart Property Support Program Update

The FireSmart Property Support Program is now paused for the remainder of 2026.

Thank you to everyone who participated this year! The pause will allow the District of Hope FireSmart team to complete existing commitments, focus on other priority initiatives, and evaluate the program.

The Property Support Program is expected to be reviewed in 2027, subject to available funding and resources. We’ll share updates about its future once more information is available.

In the meantime, residents are encouraged to continue taking steps to reduce wildfire risk around their properties and explore the other FireSmart resources and programs available in our community.
