Working in the Election

The District of Hope invites applications from individuals to act as Election Officials in the 2026 Local Government Election. Election Officials are required at two Advance Polls on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 and Wednesday, October 14, 2026 and for General Voting Day, Saturday, October 17, 2026. Election Officials will be required to attend a training session prior to the Election and will be required to work the hours of 7:30am to approximately 8:30pm. Preference will be given to individuals with previous election experience.

Applications can be found at the link below, and must be submitted to the Chief or Deputy Chief Election Officer via email at bmorgan@hope.ca or by dropping off, mailing, or otherwise delivering the application to District Hall no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, August 14, 2026.
