Conditions across the region remain active and are shifting from wind and rain into significant mountain snowfall, alongside another round of strong winds in the valley.

❄️ Snowfall Advisories
πŸš— Coquihalla Highway 
(Hope to Merritt – near the Summit)
β€’ Today: 10–20 cm of snow expected this afternoon and evening
β€’ Friday: Additional 15–25 cm
β€’ Saturday: Possible 20–30 cm (amounts still uncertain)
β€’ Strong wind gusts up to 80 km/h may cause blowing snow and poor visibility
β€’ Travel is expected to be challenging and road closures are possible

πŸš— Highway 3 – Hope to Princeton (Allison Pass)
β€’ Up to 20 cm of snow expected by tonight
β€’ Reduced visibility and difficult driving conditions likely

🌬️ Wind Advisory – Fraser Valley (East, including Hope)
β€’ When: Late this afternoon through early this evening
β€’ Winds: Southwest 50 km/h gusting up to 90 km/h

– Flying debris due to saturated ground conditions

Winds are expected to gradually ease later this evening.
