Public Hearing - Zoning Amendment Bylaw 1407
Pursuant to Section 466 of the Local Government Act, notice is hereby given that the District of Hope will conduct a Public Hearing with respect to District of Hope Zoning Amendment Bylaw 1407. The purpose of Bylaw 1407 is to provide clarity within the bylaw; for general housekeeping purposes; to correct an omission from the former Zoning Bylaw; clarifying the intent of existing regulations within the Bylaw by doing some general maintenance such as encompassing the definition of Commercial Service Use to include car detailing; reword the landscaping, screening and fencing regulations so the language compliments the District of Hope Official Community Plan; and, to add Comprehensive Development Zones to the applicable sections in the Zoning Bylaw.
Council will hear the views of the public at 6:30 pm on the evening of Monday, March 12, 2018 in Council Chambers at 325 Wallace Street, Hope, BC in order to assist them in determining whether Zoning Amendment Bylaw should proceed.
