FVRL Holds Study Day Sept 12th
The Fraser Valley Regional Library wishes to inform you that they will be holding a system-wide Staff Development Day on Friday, September 12, 2014 which means that all libraries will be closed that day to enable the maximum number of staff to attend this day of training.
In addition to team-building opportunities that foster thier corporate culture, the day will feature breakout sessions led by FVRL staff on topics specifically relevant to library services.

Notice of Stage Two Watering Restrictions
As per District of Hope Water Regulation Bylaw No. 1271, 2009, the District of Hope is now on a Stage Two Watering Restriction.
Watering is permitted on alternate odd or even calendar days based on civic addresses during the hours of 5:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. until September 30, 2014.
Further stage restrictions may be required and issued as deemed necessary.
Hand watering is still permitted on any day of the week.
East Kawkawa Lake Lift Station News Release
The waste water lift station at East Kawkawa Lake will soon be repaired following the discovery of a malfunction May 17th, resulting in the deployment of vacuum trucks to manually remove waste water.
