Have you considered running for Mayor or Councillor in Beautiful Hope? If so, Nomination Packages are ready for pick up!  

Nomination Period opens at 9:00am Tuesday September 4, 2018 and closes at 4:00pm Friday September 14, 2018.

Advance Voting Opportunities 

Wednesday October 10, 2018 and Wednesday October 17, 2018 at District of Hope Council Chambers, 325 Wallace Street, Hope, BC, from 8:00am to 8:00pm.

Mail Ballot Voting

The District of Hope offers Mail Ballot voting. The electors who may vote by mail ballot are persons who have a physical disability, illness, or injury that affects their ability to vote in person or persons who expect to be absent from the municipality on general voting day and at the times of advance voting. Mail ballots can be picked up or they will be mailed to the elector starting October 3, 2018.

Call for Election Officials

Are you interested in working as an Election Official? An Election Official's job duties include legibly registering voters, recording and confirming their identification, and issuing ballots. Election Officials work on voting day from 7:00 am to approximately 9:00 pm and remain on site throughout the entire day.
