Operational Changes at the Hope Transfer Station in response to COVID-19
Delays are expected at the Hope Transfer Station in response to increased volume associated with spring cleaning and Covid 19 related precautionary measures. We request that all customers respect and abide by the new procedures put in place by the operator, Valley Waste. Valley Waste will be restricting access to one vehicle at a time. Please do not get out of your vehicle when weighing in or out. The scale attendant will assist you while remaining in your vehicle to maximize social distancing. The District of Hope and Valley Waste thank you in advance for your understanding. Please be safe and considerate of others.
The Coquihalla Campground has ceased taking reservations for all forms of recreational camping. For guests with a local address that may need to self isolate, and have fully contained RV units, the campground may still have space for 14 day stays.

Pharmacy Dedicated Customer Pick-Up
The District has marked dedicated parking spaces for customer pick-up only at all pharmacies.
Our phones are open from 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday. Closed between Noon and 1:30 and Stat holidays.

Building Inspection Services
Limited building inspection services will continue on new builds only at this time. For more information call 604-869-5671 or email.
District Hall closed to in-person service
In order to reduce the risk of COVID -19 the District of Hope Municipal hall will be closed to in-person service effective immediately.
Public washrooms will also be closed as well as playground equipment at Memorial and Kawkawa Lake Parks until Further Notice.
District operations will continue uninterrupted including all utility services, public works, fire protection and administrative services.

Bill payments may be made online or dropped off through our mail slot.
